Playas del Coco - Playa Hermosa

Located in Guanacaste, Playas del Coco and Playa Hermosa are neighboring towns located along the North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Closely nestled in with other towns of Playa Ocotal, Playa Panama and close to the Four Seasons Resort on Peninsula Papagayo.

These thriving towns are only 20 minutes from Liberia International Airport (LIR) and a perfect destination for lots of activities; from Oceans to Volcanos. 

Nicaragua is within 1.5 hours drive to the border and great for a long day trip or overnight stay in either San Juan del Sur or Granada, Nicaragua

Tamarindo is Costa Rica's mecca for surfers. Home of the filming of Endless Summer II and the perfect break at mid-high tide, a great place for beginners to catch at wave. Many restaurants and shops fill the town with the busiest of seasons in February and March when snowbirds flock to this haven for the winter.

Neighboring towns of Langosta and Playa Grande are a short trip away but be carful of crossing the estuaries as there many crocodiles that home in those parts.

Nightlife in Tamarindo is abundant with nightly specials and dancing.

Arenal - La Fortuna


Hot Springs. Canopy. This is your place.

Arenal is one of Costa Rica's most popular destinations and one of several volcanos in the country. Hiking to waterfalls, flying through the air on cables high above ground and navigating through rapids on a tube are just some of the favorites in this area. 

Natural Hot Springs are plentiful in the area with many different options at hotels and parks. These Hot Springs are usually enjoyed for a half day or part of your hotels benefits. Water activites can be enjoy on Lake Arenal as well.

La Fortuna is the main town with shops, grocery, restaurants and the beautiful La Fortuna waterfall.


While staying in Costa Rica in the Guanacaste region, Nicaragua is only a short drive to the border. San Juan del Sur is the closest beach community and not much further is Granada, Nicaragua's colonial city that was once the capital.

Many travel through the border of Peñas Blancas to enter Nicaragua from Costa Rica daily on tours or overnight trips. Visiting the island of Ometepe or the vast amount of volcanos that spread across the region are tourist favorites.

Granada is located at the northern part of Lake Nicaragua. This beautiful city has many cathedrals, restaurants, hotels and activities to fulfill your day.

San Juan del Sur is a surfers paradise with the neighboring breaks of Playa Maderas and Playa Marsella. The cobble stone roads are filled with local stores and hostels with beach front restaurants to enjoy the sunset.
